Hello! I worked with B.A.G. Remodelers earlier this year after I moved back into a home I had previously leaded. I needed everything… all walls painted, light fixtures changed, trim repair and paint, and ceilings painted. Not only did they take care of all of these requests professionally and within budget they also worked with me as the project got underway for things that also needed some updates/touch ups.

Very good. I have 4 dogs and contractor was very courteous about closing the gate when leaving. Area was always kept clean and my preferences were followed. Contractor did more than was expected such as trimming small trees and removing debris on property prior to their arrival. Debris was not connected to job.

I met with Barney to get a quote to remove a load bearing wall and replace it with a beam. He came in with much knowledge of the situation and was able to quote me a very reasonable price which he stuck to all the way through the process. No hidden fees or up-charges when it was all said and done. His crew came in and worked quickly and was able to get the job done in 3 days. The work looks amazing and I cannot say enough about how great of a guy Barney was to work with. He not only did the work I contracted him to do but he also walked me around my house (I bought it the day before they came in) and showed me how to maintain my property the best way to protect the foundation. Any questions I had related to the work they did plus anything else he was very eager to share his advise and help out. I would highly recommend BAG to anyone and will be using them in the future for other projects.

It gives me great pleasure to write this recommendation for B.A.G Remodelers. Let me start by company owner Barney Gonzales himself who exudes a level of knowledge and expertise comes to house to evaluate the project. Barney took his time explaining every single detail and options for the replacement wood siding around the house. He also provided extra things included in his quotation he will do that I was not thinking about such as power wash the entire house, painting the entire trims around the house not just the back from Roof soffits, gutters, spouts and every trim around the windows to match the color of the Hardy Plank that I chose as replacement, ensuring the project is always running smoothly and at peak. The quotation he submitted was very reasonable and well below competitor, on the spot I agreed to it . What I appreciated most about Barney was his keen ability to answer my questions. What I did not know off the top of my head, he knew exactly what I want. The job was completed on time, his crew cleaned up the entire lawn. While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, B.A.G as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result.

We hired B.A.G Remodelers back in February 2018 because we were affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. We were very picky on deciding who to choose for our entire remodel on our home. We had gotten several quotes from other companies which were not in my opinion “Doing the right thing” But taking advantage of the disaster others were going through at that time. When we met Barney with B.A.G. Remodelers it was a completely different experience. We asked him for just a quote on doing the walls and we would go from there. And finally someone who respected our wishes and did just that. He did add that we should do a complete mold protection on all our 2×4’s which no one had even mentioned to do before. So we were pleased with his quote and hired him to go ahead and start with the walls. We then went ahead to the next phase which was kitchen and bathrooms. This was my absolute favorite part we had freedom in choosing our own tiles and cabinets. We told him what we wanted and he delivered exactly that! When the bathroom with the tub was done the window box tiles that matched the boarder were going the wrong way. That was the only thing that I was sad about but he said NO PROBLEM he took that out with ease and put it in the right direction. I was soooooo excited my spa bathroom was complete just how I wanted it. So its all in the details don’t just except something for what it is they are here to make it the way you truly intended it to be. My moms bathroom was a complete change over. She’s really enjoying it! A lot of homes are putting in showers taking away one of the bathtubs which makes it great if your getting older or going to sell your home. When we were at the point of installing the kitchen island the floor was un-level they were wanting to cut the cabinet but my mom said NO. So they had to pick up the flooring they had put down to level the concrete some more so the end of the story is level floor, island is not cut down and Happy MOM. The pictures pretty much tell how we love our kitchen. We had lots of fun picking out everything in there too. We also got our back patio done then too which we are very happy with. So at the end of November 2019 we had Barney back out to do our driveway and walkways. I love the detail that was taken into consideration like a slight angle of the driveway that leans toward our drain so the water will run it that direction. We did have quotes from other companies for the driveway that didn’t mention that. So again DETAILS something you might not remember to do they help with pointing it out so you won’t miss doing it. We were very satisfied with all the work that B.A.G. Remodelers did to restore our garage and the front of our home, and other work. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone needing remodeling services.

Like a lot of people after the horrible freeze in February, due to ruptured pipes, my house suffered water damage to ceilings, walls and cabinets in my kitchen and master bathroom. By the time June rolled around, I had been scammed by a “contractor” and I use that term loosely, who had not performed the repairs he contracted to do and actually created more problems which would have to be addressed and who, by the way, disappeared before the job was completed. Both my kitchen and the master bathroom had not been useable since February and I was very frustrated and overwhelmed. At that point in the process, I was referred to BAG Remodelers, Inc. through a friend of my niece and Barney reached out to me and came to my home the next day to look at the job. He quoted a fair price and his workers, Francisco and Luis, started working in the master bathroom the next day. They literally had to come in and undo what the other “contractor” had done before they could get started with the repairs. They showed up every day on time and worked a full day. Their work product and the manner in which they handled themselves on the job was very professional. Barney communicated with me every day to make sure that things were going well and to see if I had any questions. He explained in great detail every facet of the repairs and answered all my questions. He let me know that he was always available if I had questions but I never had to call him. His crew did a fabulous job. I am very pleased with the outcome and if I ever need work done on my home, I will definitely use BAG Remodelers, Inc. again. At the end of the week when they packed up to leave, I felt like I had developed friendships with these guys. I just can’t say enough good things about BAG Remodelers, Inc., Barney, Francisco and Luis. This is the 3rd project I have selected Barney and BAG Remodelers to do at my home. They’ve done Harvey Rebuild work and Exterior Siding and painting for me in the past, all with great results. This last project was a bathroom remodel which included laying tile on the bathroom floor and closet as well as around the master bathtub, building out our stand-in shower, painting the walls and trim, replacing light fixtures and plumbing fixtures. Barney and his team are honest and trustworthy and pricing for the quality of work performed is second to none! Fabian and Luis worked quickly and professionally. Barney is straight shooter which I appreciate as far as not wasting time negotiating the “little things” that may pop up during the job. I know they will get done and will get done as expected. It is rare in these days where you can trust a contractor to do work in your home while you are not there and not have to worry about anything but with my repeated use of BAG, I’ve found a contractor that I can trust and would recommend them for any project you may have. DON’T sign a contract until you’ve had Barney come out and give you a quote, you won’t regret it.
